IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING AUTUMN TERM ACTIVITIES
Regrettably we have had to delay the opening of sign-up for our Autumn Term Activities programme.
The new sign-up date will be 9am on Friday 11 September.
We sincerely apologise for this change to the original arrangements and appreciate that this may be disappointing or inconvenient for families who were expecting to select activities this week.
The school is currently moving to a new system for managing Activities. By allowing a few additional days before opening the system to parents and pupils, we can work with our external provider to ensure that everything is correctly configured, fully tested and ready to provide the best possible experience for everyone.
Activities: 14–18 September
For the week commencing Monday 14 September, we will be running a reduced Activities programme, during which pupils will be able to choose either Study or Sport. This arrangement will apply for 14–18 September only. Please use the relevant Google Form below to let us know whether your child intends to attend Study or Sport during this first week:
Juniors – Google Form
Seniors – Google Form
Sixth Form – Google Form
Our full Activities programme will commence on Monday 21 September.
*Please note that signing up using these forms only covers the first week of term and does not guarantee a place in an activity from 21 September onwards. Registration as usual, using our new system will be necessary to secure a space for the remainder of term.

Note: Activities for which a student has a confirmed space will appear at the top of the Booking Activities page on the SchoolBase portal. This can be viewed at any point during the term but the full list of available activities will only be visible during the sign-up period.
TRANSPORT BOOKINGS
Please ensure that if you are booking an Activity that will require a change to your child's travel requirements, such as requiring a seat on a link bus, or the cancellation of a school-home bus, please ensure that you update your Vectare account accordingly.
You get to explore your physical, creative, social and career interests with like-minded others. You'll find new friends: trying something different may bring you in contact with pupils you didn't know who share your interests and curiosity. Participating in co-curricular activities helps you in other ways too: it looks good on your personal statement, university/job applications and shows admissions officers and employers you're well rounded and responsible. Our Lent term programme offers new and exciting opportunities. The most basic reason for joining an activity is to have fun, make friends and get to know teachers and senior pupils better.
Review the activities we offer, listen to other students' experiences to find an activity that meets your needs. Think about your interests, abilities and time available. Are you looking to meet friends or get support? Don't limit yourself to the familiar, try something new!
